Tend

So nobody falls through the cracks.

Coming Soon

Software for the ordinary, unglamorous work of keeping a congregation connected: who's here, who's serving Sunday, who visited last week and is still waiting to hear from someone.

Tend is church management software built for congregations that would rather spend their time on people than on spreadsheets. It keeps the directory, the service schedule, the teaching calendar, and the follow-up list in one place, on the phone that's already in your pocket. It's designed for a congregation of a hundred, and it works for a congregation of twenty or two thousand.

Tend is made and operated by Still Standing Studios. Each congregation using Tend controls its own information and sends its own messages to its own members; Still Standing Studios runs the software on their behalf.

What Tend Does

The work of keeping a church running, in one place.

👥

People

A directory of members and households, with contact details, membership status, and photos. Privacy is set field by field, so a phone number can be visible to leaders and nobody else. Contact details for minors are restricted to leaders by default.

📅

Scheduling

Build the Sunday schedule from a template, see every role and every service on one board, and know at a glance what still needs attention. Tend suggests who's available and who hasn't served recently — but it never assigns anyone automatically. A person schedules people.

🤝

Serve

Members accept, decline, or ask for someone to cover, from their phone. A pending cover request keeps the slot flagged, so a role nobody has actually picked up doesn't quietly look filled.

📝

Communication Cards

A card a visitor can fill in from a QR code on the seat back — no account, no app to install. Prayer requests, questions, requests to be contacted. Cards route to the right people, and sensitive ones are held where only the people charged with them can read them.

📚

Teaching

Plan Bible classes and preaching a quarter, six months, or a year out. Teachers, subjects, curriculum, rooms — and a straight answer to "which classes still have no teacher?"

💬

Messages

Email and text to the people who have said it's okay to contact them. Consent is recorded when it's given and checked again before anything sends. Replying STOP works immediately, every time.

What Tend Does Not Do

Some things are better left out.

Tend holds no financial information. No giving, no contributions, no donor records, no payment processing, no accounting. That's a permanent design decision, not a feature waiting to be built. If a congregation offers online giving, Tend will link to it and get out of the way.

Tend does not sell or share congregation data, and does not use it to train anything.

Who Makes It

Tend is built by Still Standing Studios.

Tend is in private testing with its first congregation. If you'd like to know more, write to us at contact@stillstandingstudios.com.
