You Can Know ("the App") is a free, Scripture-centered Bible study application developed by Still Standing Studios. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle information.
Account Information. If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address and display name. Account creation is optional.
Church Linking. If you connect to a local church through a QR code or church code, we store the association between your account and that church.
Chat Messages. Messages you exchange with your Study Companion are stored securely. Only you, your Study Companion, and authorized church administrators can view these messages.
Lesson Progress. We store your reading progress so you can pick up where you left off across devices.
The App requests camera access solely to scan church QR codes. Camera data is processed on your device in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information may be shared only with your paired Study Companion and authorized church administrators, and with Google Firebase for authentication and data storage.
We use industry-standard security measures provided by Google Firebase, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL) and secure authentication.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. When you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our active systems.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or on this page with a revised effective date.
