This Privacy Policy describes how Still Standing Studios, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Communion Table Talks mobile application (the "App"). We respect your privacy and have designed the App to collect only the information needed to operate it.

1. Who we are

Still Standing Studios, LLC is a limited liability company based in Columbia, South Carolina. You can reach us at mike@stillstandingstudios.com.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account information. If you sign in, we collect your email address and display name through Firebase Authentication. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and a unique Google ID through Google Sign-In. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Subscription information. If you purchase a subscription, Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS) processes the payment. We receive a purchase token or transaction identifier and the product ID, which we store to confirm your subscription status. We do not receive or store your credit card number, billing address, or other payment details.
  • Discount codes. If you redeem a discount code, we store the code and the date you redeemed it so we can grant the corresponding access.
  • Correspondence. If you email us, we keep your message so we can respond.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics). When the App crashes, Firebase Crashlytics collects a stack trace, device model, operating system version, and a randomly generated installation identifier. Crash reports help us fix bugs. You can disable crash reporting in the App's settings.
  • Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics, opt-in). If you opt in, the App reports a small set of anonymous events (which screens were opened, which presentations were viewed) along with device model, country, and a randomly generated installation identifier. Analytics is off by default; you can turn it on or off at any time in the App's settings.
  • Reading progress. The App stores, in your account's Firestore record, which presentations you have viewed and the dates on which you scheduled them. This lets you resume where you left off across devices.

2.3 Information we do not collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, calendar, or health data. The App does not contain advertising and does not share information with advertising networks.

3. How we use information

  • To create and maintain your account.
  • To deliver the presentations and features you request.
  • To process and confirm subscription purchases and renewals.
  • To diagnose crashes and improve reliability.
  • To respond to questions or support requests.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

4. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK users)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing your personal information are: (a) performance of our contract with you (account, subscriptions), (b) your consent (analytics, optional features), (c) our legitimate interests in keeping the App secure and improving it (crash reports, anti-abuse), and (d) compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the limited service providers needed to run the App:

  • Google LLC (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing). These services store and process the data described above on our behalf. Google's privacy practices are described at firebase.google.com/support/privacy and policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Apple Inc. (if you use the App on iOS) for sign-in, App Store transactions, and crash diagnostics. See apple.com/legal/privacy.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.

6. Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Purchase records and discount-code redemptions are retained for the life of the subscription plus the period required for accounting and tax purposes (typically seven years). Crash reports are retained for up to 90 days. Analytics events are retained for up to 14 months.

7. Your choices and rights

7.1 Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account and the data associated with it from the App's About screen by tapping Delete account. This action immediately removes your Firebase Auth record and your Firestore user document (account info, reading progress, subscription record, redeemed codes). Active subscriptions billed by Google or Apple must be cancelled separately through your store account; the App cannot cancel them on your behalf.

7.2 Crash reporting and analytics

You can turn crash reporting and analytics off at any time in the App's settings. Disabling them stops future collection but does not retroactively delete data that was already sent.

7.3 Access, correction, portability, and other rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at mike@stillstandingstudios.com from the email address associated with your account. We will respond within the period required by applicable law (typically 30 days).

8. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents may request disclosure of the categories of personal information we collect and the purposes for which we use them; request deletion of personal information; and request that we not sell or share personal information. We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email mike@stillstandingstudios.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. Children's privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under those ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including TLS for data in transit and Google Cloud's encryption-at-rest for stored data. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you become aware of a security issue, please email mike@stillstandingstudios.com.

11. International transfers

The App's backend (Firebase) is hosted in the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where Google operates data centers. Where required, Google relies on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this URL and update the "Effective date" above. Material changes will also be announced inside the App. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
